Arcata Community Forest is comprised of 790 acres of woodland majesty. It’s located just a short drive away from downtown Arcata and is the perfect place to visit for any nature lover.

Shades of vibrant green will totally overwhelm you! The park contains miles of hiking trails that are suitable for all ages and skill levels. You could easily spend hours on end walking through the forest.

As you hike through the area, you’ll find yourself totally surrounded by gigantic, centuries-old redwood trees. Some of them have toppled over the trail and others contain hollowed out insides perfect for hiding away in.
