Santa has come and gone but do you ever wonder what his home environment might look like? Sure, Christmas TV specials can give us some insight, as well as photos of the actual North Pole, but sometimes the best way to imagine a place is by relating it to home. We’re going to take a look at some beautiful landscapes here in New Mexico that look simply magical under a layer of snow. He might even want to consider relocating his workshop here after checking out these photos!
- White Sands already looks kind of snowy but on the occasional day it receives a dusting of actual snow, it looks gorgeous.

- Lookout Mountain in Gila National Forest looks like a chilly wonderland in this photo. I almost expect to see an elf pop out from behind the trees!

- And this area surrounding the Jemez River looks like the ideal spot for Santa to move his workshop to with all those towering pines.

- Another option is near Taos Ski Valley, which receives plenty of snow and Santa might even enjoy hitting the slopes once he’s finished delivering gifts!
