From pumpkin patches to apple festivals and historic reenactments, everything you need for fall is at these best fall festivals.
- Barracks Row Fall Festival
Facebook/Barracks Row The Barracks Row Fall Festival aims to bend urban city life with small town fairs. There’s nothing quite like anywhere else in the city. There’s food, games and performances that the whole family will love. The Festival takes place on September 23rd.
- Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch Fall Festival

Facebook/George Washington’s Mount Vernon You can celebrate the season going back in time at Mount Vernon Fall Harvest Days. There are wagon rides, early-American style games, a straw bale maze and plenty of historic demonstrations. The festival takes place at Mount Vernon on October 21-22.

On the farm, they reenact what life was like in 1771. During the Market Fair in the fall, you can enjoy mulled wine, crisp fresh apples or learn to dip candles and be entertained by musicians and tradesman. The Market Fair takes place October 21-22 from 11am-4:30pm.

- National Apple Harvest Festival
