Nashville has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years, which means some places rise while others fall. We’ve seen this vary depending upon industry, with the restaurant scene getting hit fairly hard. Here’s a little blast from the past, a sweet nod from the Nashville of old. We miss Mad Donna’s and the old location of The Family Wash, sometimes we don’t even recognize East Nashville anymore and have to breathe long and steady to remember that the Loveless Cafe is STILL THERE. We’re okay, people.
But these spots? Not so lucky.

The Mad Platter - Facebook This cute and quirky eatery was tucked in the heart of Germantown and just recently closed its doors. We’ll miss the cozy environment and their killer happy hour!

The Stone Fox - Facebook Once located in an old house in the Nations, the fun eatery and music venue closed for good a few years ago. We’ll forever miss those warm Edison bulbs on the porch and all the good times. RIP.
The Lifeway Building
NPR This may be a bit too soon…? But we’ll always miss that big cross that used to stand sentinel over downtown. The Lifeway Draper Tower was demolished in the biggest implosion in Nashville since 1985, on January 6th, 2018.
Noshville Delicatessen
Noshville Delicatessen - Facebook The midtown location has been closed for a solid couple of years, but we’ll always miss the low-key vibe and hefty menu that boasted stick-to-your-ribs eats.
Holland House Bar & Refuge
