It can be surprising to newcomers just how diverse Nevada’s landscape is. Red Rock Canyon is undoubtedly one of the most well-known canyons in the state. However, few people are aware that there are many, many more canyons that show an incredible side of Nevada you’ve never seen before. These seven little-known canyons may not be as vast as Red Rock, but they are equally as beautiful. - Titus Canyon

The canyon is accessed via a one-way dirt road from the town of Beatty. The steep faces of the canyon overwhelm you as you continue down the narrow road. It’s an incredible feeling that just can’t be described.
- Echo Canyon

The canyon is described as containing typical Great Basin vegetation and climate, and is most notable for the 65-acre reservoir that is perfect for swimming and boating. A 2.5 mile hiking trail takes you to some incredible overlooks of the surrounding valley before descending into Ash Canyon.

The canyon is actually listed on the National Register of Historic Places since ancient petroglyphs can be found in abundance throughout the area. The canyon is an oasis in the desert, with many springs (both hot and cold) found throughout the area. Popular spots like Nevada Hot Spring and Arizona Hot Spring can be found in Black Canyon. The canyon is also home to a stretch of the Colorado River. A guided kayak tour is an awesome way to experience all the beauty that this place has to offer.
- Pastel Canyon (Valley of Fire State Park)

The remote canyon lives up to its name. Here you’ll find some of the most visually stunning sandstone features which are just too picturesque to resist taking a photo of!

Here you’ll come across a picturesque waterfall cascading down the canyon wall. The canyon is named after the fact that it remains in cool conditions all year long since the high cliffs block sunlight.
