Now that winter has fully set in here in Minnesota, it’s time to admit the inevitable: the cold and snow aren’t going anywhere for many more weeks, so we might as well get used to it. What better way to beat the winter blues than with a day of sledding? Minneapolis and the surrounding area offers great sledding hills that will take you out of your winter rut. Some are steep and fast, and some are gentle and slow – but all are tons of fun.

  1. Columbia Heights Golf Course

In winter, this hill is not for the faint of heart - it’s one of the steepest in Northeast Minneapolis! Columbia Park offers hours of fun for thrill-seeking folks.
