This moderate hike offers an incredible view of one of the most scenic attractions in all of West Virginia. The trail leads you to an observation platform where you’ll have one of the most breathtaking views of the rock faces!

Travis Castle/AllTrails The Endless Wall trail is easily one of the most popular hikes in West Virginia for its absolutely heart-stopping views and incredible scenery. Located near Lansing, this 2.7 mile loop trail follows the cliff line along the New River Gorge. There are various overlooks along the trail so you can stop, take a breath, and enjoy the surroundings. This family friendly trail is simply a must-do in West Virginia!
- Big Schloss
Gary Utz/AllTrails Located in the George Washington Forest, this moderate 4.4 mile hike offers expansive views of beautiful, lush green foliage. You’ll begin the hike at the trailhead located at Wolf Gap Campground. The first part of the hike is notably the most difficult, but the trail evens out after the first mile or so. Once you get past the first mile you’ll arrive at the ridge line of Mill Mountain where you can soak up the incredible scenery!
