Tennessee is great for a little bit of eerie and strange, and a bit kid-friendly, too. Plus there’s paintball!

Hauntanel - Facebook Located just outside of Nashville, Hauntanel takes places at the Fontanel Mansion from October 25th to the 27th, a perfectly creepy weekend that is open from 6-11pm both evenings.

Nashville Shores Halloscream - Facebook Care for a haunted hayride at the lake? You can enjoy an eerie ride right on the shore, at the popular Nashville Shores water park. Dates haven’t yet been announced for the 2017 season, but 2016 sure did get some rave reviews. Keep your eyes peeled!

Facebook/Zombie Trail Paintball & Corn Maze Haunted hayrides, a zombie trail and a paintball field?! Located in Humboldt, Tennessee, you will be taken on a twenty-minute ride of your life filled with lots of screams and tons of fun. It will be open on multiple dates through September and October, so make sure to plan an evening to head on out to Humboldt.

Hartman’s Corn Maze - Facebook That’s a mouthful, isn’t it? This Mosheim haunted attraction is open September 1st through ’til November 1st, and is known for its corn maze most of all. Great for kids of all ages, you can visit over 8 acres of farm land that doubles as a Halloween horror show.

Millers Thrillers Zombie Paintball Hayride - Facebook Another zombie ride? Yes, yes it is, and located just beyond Spring Hill in Middle Tennessee. You can visit both the haunted woods AND the zombie paintball hayride if you’d like, and we’d definitely recommend the two of them. Probably best for your older children, you can visit Fridays and Saturdays during the fall.
