Tennessee has managed to become wildly cool in the last couple of years, but we haven’t forgotten our strange, semi-creepy roots. Here are 11 delightfully weird things that you’ll ONLY find here in the Volunteer State. Natalie Curtiss - Flickr It’s true. At RCA’s Studio B you can visit the recording studio that Elvis used and decorated with his own two hands, so many years ago.

High Point - Facebook High Point Restaurant in Monteagle is known for its ties to the mob, and the notorious Capone once used the space to hide. There are many legends that float around the gorgeous house, but we’d recommend just coming to eat.

- The Crystal Shrine Grotto is a man-made cave worth visiting.
Memphis CVB - Flickr Stuck hard in the middle of the Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery, it is decorated with quartz and fake stalagmites. Harp music is pumped through the tunnels, adding an edge to the eeriness.
- We have the “Restroom of the Year,” you know.
Peter Burka - Flickr The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville is known for its art deco inspiration and beautiful glass tiling with green accents. Even women can take a peek - after making sure the room is empty, of course.
