Cincinnati is such a beautiful city, whether you are wandering the vibrant streets of downtown or exploring a charming spot in one of the outlying neighborhoods, you have to admit that we are pretty lucky to call Cincy home. Trying to narrow down the many neighborhoods to the most beautiful and charming is no easy task, but we’ve managed to at least start with the top ten. For this particular list, we stayed on this side of the river and didn’t venture too far from the city center, because then things would get really difficult! So come take a stroll through Cincinnati’s most beautiful, charming neighborhoods and see if you agree with our list.

  1. Loveland

Wikimedia Commons/Minh Nguyễn Loveland is the “Heart of Ohio” and for good reason. Despite a tragic fire in its historic downtown, the neighborhood is rebuilding and will surely be just as beautiful as it once was. The area is also known for its picturesque bike trail and unique Loveland Castle.

  1. Mariemont

Flickr/Chris Evans To walk through the streets of Mariemont feels like you’ve crossed the Atlantic to a European village. It is definitely one of the most unique and charming spots in Cincinnati and there’s even plenty of entertainment right in the business district, from a movie theater to shopping and restaurants.

  1. Hyde Park

Flickr/Jonathan Rieke Centered around Hyde Park Square, this grand area of Cincinnati is known for its charming business district and large, historic estate-style homes. A summer evening strolling through Hyde Park Square with a Graeter’s ice cream cone is pretty much the perfect Cincinnati night.

Talk about a transformation, as you’ll now walk through a neighborhood that boasts trendy shopping and restaurants, sidewalks decorated with flower pots and colorful wall murals that really bring the streets to life.

  1. Northside

Facebook/Cincinnati Northside Many of these neighborhoods have older homes and quaint business districts and Northside is no exception. Another area that offers several delicious restaurants and unique shopping, real estate is really taking off here and the beauty of this neighborhood is shining more than ever.

  1. Glendale

Facebook/Glendale Ohio Chamber of Commerce Glendale feels like a small town within a big city. With a train running through it and a charming business district and parks, this neighborhood has been a treasured area of Cincinnati for generations.

  1. Wyoming

Facebook/Wyoming Ohio Another area of town that feels like its own entity. With many neighborhood events, great schools, and beautiful historic homes, Wyoming is one of the best places to live in the city.

  1. Westwood

Facebook/Westwood Works The residents of Westwood are passionate about bringing life into their neighborhood, while maintaining its charm - and they are succeeding! It has a real neighborly feel, with new businesses popping up frequently and a thriving real estate scene.
