Nashville has made itself known as a cutting edge southern city, but we’re still kind of your dorky, cowboy boot wearing cousin at heart. You’ll find us chowing down on hot chicken at dinnertime and posting Instagram worthy shots of our latte art on the side, because it’s all about the balance here in Music City. Check out what makes us so interesting and weird and fun below – we bet you’ll find a chuckle.

  1. We’re a big fan of the quirky milkshakes that come from the Grilled Cheeserie’s milkshake bar

The Grilled Cheeserie - Facebook The Grilled Cheeserie began its successful career as a wildly popular food truck, and has since opened its own brick-and-mortar store in the popular Hillsboro Village. Their specialty milkshakes are pretty amazing, though, and you’ll definitely want to imbibe.

  1. Wait - have you seen this castle before?!

Brent Moore - Flickr Probably, since the former Tennessee State Prison has been prominently featured in music videos and movies like, “The Green Mile”. You can visit for yourself - by driving around the perimeter, mind you - on the west side of town.
