Kansas City has it’s own Napa Valley, and you’ll find it all over the metro area. We have our very own city wine trail with selected vineyards and wineries, but we’re really here for all the best scenery and wine we can find. Not all of these 10 are on the wine trail, but we feel like we’ve found some hidden gems!

Arcadian Moon / Facebook You can soak up this amazing view from the tasting room and deck overlooking the lake, as you sip a glass of wine or a pint of handcrafted beer. It’s not every day that a winery does both!

Rowe Ridge Vineyard & Winery / Facebook This vineyard is a great place to forget about the rest of the world for a while. It’s a smaller, family-owned place located on just ten acres. Tastings are available by appointment or during regular hours.

Stonehaus Farms Winery / Facebook This little winery was founded in 1996 and continues as a family-owned and operated business. They have great scenery for weddings and other big events, or you can visit them for Oktoberfest instead.

Somerset Ridge Vineyard and Winery / Facebook This family-owned vineyard in the rolling hills makes some of the best wines I’ve tasted, and offers beautiful tours, too! They also have tasting room hours, which is probably the best part of the trip! Maybe I just like wine….

Ladoga Ridge Winery / Facebook The tasting room here is fantastic, and you can enjoy your wine overlooking some of the best scenery, with or without a fire pit. They don’t host weddings or receptions, just small tours and tastings.

Riverwood Winery / Facebook As you can see, this vineyard makes for a great wedding backdrop. They also make for a perfect picnic setting, which you can bring yourself or order from their kitchen.

Belvoir Winery and Inn / Facebook One of the most stunning wineries in the area, they’re literally named after the french word for “beautiful view.” They have 170 acres of amazing scenery, and a beautiful inn to boot.
